A helping hand for birds
Our gardens are important places for wild animals and especially birds. By providing a regular supply of food and water, we can help birds survive the challenging winter months.
What you need

Pine Cone

Suet

Seed Mix

Copper Wire or Florist’s Wire
How to make
- Attach a length of the wire to each cone, winding it through and around the scales at the base. Leave a long ‘tail’ for hanging the feeder.
- Press the fat and seed mix between the scales. Build up layers until the cone is completely covered.
- Hang the finished cones from a branch in quiet parts of the garden for the birds to enjoy.
